Tips on Tuesday

A slight deviation from our usual brand of tips, but a subject close to our heart!

We are part of the team (along with ES Editorial) who created and deliver Bingley Business Expo.

Bingley Business Expo

The mission behind Bingley Business Expo is to showcase the skills, expertise and services of those businesses based in Bingley and the Aire Valley, with the event established to provide a platform in which local business can showcase their offering to both the local and wider business community.

Our aim is to not only encourage local businesses to collaborate and take advantage of the services available on their doorstep but to also attract attention from further afield.

This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better with space secured for more exhibitors. If you’re an Aire Valley business owner, you can join us as an exhibitor and use your stand to showcase your business, raise brand awareness, network and generate new leads.

We also invite business owners and decision makers from Bingley and beyond to attend. Delegates will have the opportunity to liaise directly with exhibitors, connect with fellow visitors and most importantly, forge valuable working relationships.

Our chosen charity for September’s event is Manorlands Hospice who provide incredible palliative care and complementary therapy services to support people with life-limiting conditions. Last year, we raised £400 for The Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund.

Tips on Tuesday

When making a post on any of your social media channels it is important to get a good balance of content.

That means not making it all about you!

Make sure your posts are a decent mix of your news together with posts that add value for people reading, sharing interesting content and simply interacting with other people.  There is nothing more likely to make followers hit the big “unfollow” button than a social media feed that contains nothing but posts on what you’re selling.

Be creative, be innovative and share well!

Tips on Tuesday

Picture the scene, you’ve set up your social media profiles and think they look great.  All that’s left is to make them live, right? Wrong!

Before you put anything live, make sure you take a look at it through your customers’ eyes.  Use a private window to view the profiles to make sure they look as good to other people as they do to you!

Such a small and quick activity, but one that could make a huge difference to your online presence.
