The Beauty Corner

We were really delighted when Helena from The Beauty Corner contacted us for some help with their online presence.

The Beauty Corner is a gorgeous salon, set in picturesque Eldwick.  Whilst Helena is busy doing what she does best; treating her clients to a wide array of beauty treatments, she doesn’t have time to share what she does on social media.

And that’s where we come in!

With such a visual business we’re really excited to be working with Helena and helping her showcase online the wonderful treatments she offers, whilst increasing awareness of the brand in the local area.

To find out more about Helena, please visit The Beauty Corner or follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Tips on Tuesday

Have you tried the new bookmark facility on Twitter?

Twitter have introduced the new facility for saving tweets when you want to come back to read the content, but the moment isn’t quite right!

To use bookmarks: –

Tap the download icon to save the tweet.

Twitter Bookmark

From the pop up menu, select “Add Tweet to Bookmarks”.

TwitterBookmark2

You can then access your bookmarks when you’re ready via your avatar.

Really pleased to see this facility reach Twitter – I often find tweets with links I want to read and “like” them, but then have to scroll through to find them later.  This will make saving valuable content much easier!

Let me know your thoughts!

Tips on Tuesday

Remember that half the battle in gaining new followers across your social media is being visible, so it is really important you take every opportunity to alert new contacts as to your social media profiles.

Make sure you add your social media profiles to your email signatures.  Every email you send will act as a shop window and give your contacts a chance to find – and follow – your profiles.

Make sure you include a clickable link and a clear call to action (“follow us”, “like us” etc).  Make it simple.  Make it quick.

We’d really like to talk about how valuable LinkedIn groups can be.

LinkedIn Groups

Whatever your sector, find and get involved with relevant industry groups.  LinkedIn groups are a great way of making connections whilst discussing current issues and learning new ideas.  They are a really valuable way of online networking, which will hopefully create and nurture new and important relationships.

Being actively involved in a group will mean you get noticed; and of course getting our business noticed is what we all hope to achieve!
