Tips on Tuesday

It seems a simple concept, but one of the most vital pieces of advice when planning your social media strategy is to maximise your leads!

Facebook gives you the option to add a call-to-action button to your posts or Facebook ads. This is a powerful feature (where appropriate), simply because it gives mobile users (did you know 98.3% of Facebook users view the platform via a mobile device or tablet whilst 79.2% access Facebook through a mobile phone only) the chance to get in contact with you quite literally at the touch of a button; no need for them to follow links, no need for them to navigate slow uploads or landing pages.

Getting the potential lead is the hard part, once they are hooked make their journey with you as easy as possible from first contact. You will soon see how this converts a viewer into a real-time customer or client.

For today’s tip we’re going to give you a little bit of Facebook advice!

Facebook Aire Media BlogDon’t forget to make use of the Call to Action button on Facebook!   The time any potential new customer spends on a business page is fleeting so there are two main rules – make your content engaging and make it easy to get in touch with you.

The Call to Action button has a number of options from booking appointments to simply getting in touch; so you can select the one that works best for you.  But make sure you do select one, even if it is only a link to a contact page on a website.  Make it easy for the customer and they will respond by getting in touch!

For today’s Tip on Tuesday we’re going to be looking at Facebook.

A small tip today but a very important one.  If you’re doing a Facebook update that contains a link, make sure that the link is included in the post before the 5th line of text.  The end of the 5th line is where Facebook cuts the post and adds the “See more” action.

You want to make following links easy for the people reading so don’t require them to “See more” before they can follow your call to action.
