Do you keep an eye on your competitors?


If you have never carried out analysis on your competitors, you’re missing a trick.  Their social media profiles are as public as yours, this is a great way to compare your strategy with theirs are maybe get some ideas on how to change your performance. 

Ask yourself what your competitors are doing well; make a list of their strengths and weaknesses.  Are they posting a particular type of content that is getting them good engagement? 

Once you have taken a look at your competitors’ social media, come up with a plan of action to implement changes to your own social media strategy.  Of course, we would never advocate directly copying posts; but there is no harm in keeping your ideas fresh!
