It can be difficult when you’re starting out on social media to know what content works and what doesn’t and finding the right content to share is half the battle.
Don’t be afraid to check what your established competitors are doing. Obviously you don’t want to copy them, but you can certainly get a feel of what content they find successful and use that to help your own strategy.
Once you’re sharing your own ideas, you can roughly gauge if the content works by checking: –
- Did it have any positive likes or interaction?
- Did anyone recycle your content or share it on their timeline?
- Did anyone acknowledge you as a source.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with differing content styles until you find your niche.
